We welcome you into our home and invite you to appreciate the pleasures of life in this Renaissance period house that once welcomed Henri IV's paramour.

Without a doubt, during winter, the crackling wood in the open fireplace in the drawing room is welcoming, but if you come in summertime you might prefer the idea of a pleasant stroll around the grounds followed by a dip in the pool.

At Saint Paterne the old and the new blends together in harmonious marriage of authenticity and originality. There is a special atmosphere and spirit of a real family château.  The art of hospitality is all around, and we will invite you to taste a dinner with seasonal produce, flavours from here and abroad  mingle for the traveller loving fine things in life.

A SHARED PASSION

Charles-Henry left Provence in 1989, to settle in the family chateau that had not been lived in since 30 years. In 1998, Ségolène, left Paris,   married Charles-Henry and joined the adventure.

Our passion for the art of living, for decoration, travelling and discovering cuisines from different places have helped create in Saint Paterne a lifestyle in perfect harmony with the 21st century.

This family château which has its origins in the 15th century, is a house with period furniture as well as objects that we cherish coming from different parts of the world and from antique shops in the area.

We hope that this old château and the ambiance that we have created reflect our spirit : aware of our roots and our origins but looking with enthusiasm towards the future.

And for our three boys Diego, Arthus and Raphaël which Saint Paterne is a house filled with joy and love.
